Barcelona are following Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.Marca says Bayern Munich put a €39 million price tag on Boateng's head last summer. But Barcelona's offer for the defender never went beyond €35 million.

Last Friday, Charly Rexach, the head of Barcelona's Sports Commission, called Boateng's agents to get the ball rolling once again.

Barca are keen to sign the German but leave him on loan at Bayern until June 2016, due to their summer market ban.
