Barcelona are reluctant to welcome Sergino Dest back from his loan with AC Milan.

Marca says Barcelona offloaded Dest to AC Milan last summer, when the 22-year-old full-back joined the Serie A club on a one-year loan deal.

The agreement between the two clubs includes a 20 million euro buyout option, but AC Milan are not expected to trigger it. Barcelona are concerned, as they fear that Dest will be forced to return to the Camp Nou.

The USMNT international is not enjoying much playing time at the Serie A giants. He has only played 11 games, starting in just two of them.

It will be surprising if AC Milan decided to keep Dest. This means that he will return to the Blaugrana despite not being part of Xavi Harnandez's plans.
