Barcelona are drawing up plans to sign Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.

Relevo says Laporte is unhappy with his situation and wants to leave City this summer.

The 28-year-old wants to return to La Liga and dreams of a move to Barcelona - who have a concrete interest in the player.

Laporte is ready to drop his current salary of €6.5m net per season to push the move through.

Barcelona want Laporte despite them agreeing terms with Iñigo Martínez, 31, who will join from Athletic Bilbao in a Bosman transfer.

Barcelona hopes to receive a good offer for Andreas Christensen, 27, and so sell him. In this way, they would finance the signing of Laporte.
