Barcelona are ready to bring back Neymar this summer from PSG - but will only kickoff negotiations after assurances.

PSG have accepted it will be time to sell the Brazil captain at the end of this season and have slashed their asking price to an 'affordable' €150m.

Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu and his board are delighted, but Sport says they want a guarantee from PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that this price is set in stone. Having twice failed with offers last summer for Neymar, Barca do not want PSG moving the goalposts again.

Meanwhile, they also want a show of commitment from Neymar, with the request being made that he accept a cut on his PSG salary to return to La Masia.

If these two conditions are met from the Parisian side of the table, Bartomeu will give the green light for negotiations proceed.

A source said: "Everything is being studied, but Barca is only going to take the step if there are real options to re-sign him. That's what situation they are in."
