Barcelona are shopping in Argentina for new talent.

Sport says Barca are ready to step up talks for Santiago Simón (River Plate) and Matías Alejandro Galarza (Argentinos Juniors).

A Barca representative is due in Argentina in the coming weeks to open talks with River Plate for Simon and Argentinos Juniors for Galarza.

Midfielder Simon, 19, has a deal with River to 2024 and is also interesting Sevilla and Real Betis.

Fellow midfielder Galarza, also 19, has been likened to Juan Roman Riquelme and has a deal with Juniors to 2025.
