Barcelona have put Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt high on their shopping list for next year.

As well as wanting Frankie De Jong, they also would like to sign his team-mate De Ligt.

TV3 reports Barcelona are more interested in De Ligt than De Jong and he's one of the first on the list for next season.

Ajax general director Edwin van der Sar has said that “he's great with both feet, has a good variety of passes, is strong in the air, scores goals and is a true leader of the defence at 18. He arrived in the first team last year and never looked back."
