Victor Font says Barcelona should try to bring Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola back to the club.

Font is planning to challenge for the Barca presidency and wants to bring Guardiola and former club captain Xavi back to the Nou Camp.

It's been suggested in France that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has plans for a management dream team of Guardiola and Xavi, who is currently in charge of Al Sadd in Qatar.

But Font says: "Regardless of who will be president, what we are trying to do is that people like Xavi, apart from the role he can assume at any moment, can work for the club in this future sports project.

"We cannot allow this type of talent so unique like Xavi or Pep Guardiola to enhance rival competition. We have to find the conditions for this team of people to work for Barça."
