Barcelona president Laporta sent 2 reps to Paris for Neymar talks

Barcelona president Joan Laporta made an attempt to sign PSG star Neymar this summer, it has been revealed.

Despite allowing Lionel Messi to come off contract, blaming the club's debt problems, Laporta tried to bring Neymar back to the Nou Camp for the new season, says RAC1.

Laporta wanted to sign Neymar when he came to power earlier this year with the aim of Neymar joining this summer.

The president sent two officials to Paris to speak with the Brazilian and, according to the same source, Neymar confessed that "he was dying of desire" to return to the Camp Nou and play alongside Messi.

Despite that, everything fell apart when, according to the report, one of the PSG 'sheikhs', knowing the interest of Barça, deposited an amount of 20 million euros in the bank account of Neymar's father.

Money that, supposedly, did not come out of the official accounts of the capital club.
