Barcelona president Joan Laporta is ready to stick with coach Ronald Koeman for next season.
Sport via Le 10 Sport says Laporta is happy to go with Koeman after Saturday's Copa del Rey final triumph against Athletic Bilbao.
Laporta had been non-committal over Koeman when running for president, but has since been convinced by the Dutchman's work.
Along with lifting the Copa, Koeman has also seen Barca's LaLiga title push strengthened after Real Madrid drew with Getafe on Sunday. With a game in hand, Barca sit in third place on the LaLiga table, two points behind Real Madrid and five points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
Koeman left the Holland post last year to sign a two-year contract with Barca, but doubts were raised over his prospects of seeing out his deal due the club's election. But his work amid all the turmoil Barca has endured this season - including the resignation of the man who hired him, former president Josep Maria Bartomeu - has convinced Laporta to go with the former club captain for next season.
Koeman said on Saturday night, "Any coach who is at Barça knows that it depends on the results and the titles. It is sometimes a little boring because it can change very quickly, but winning a title is important for the team and also for me."
