Barcelona president Laporta held midnight crisis meeting

Barcelona president Joan Laporta called a crisis meeting in the early hours of Wednesday morning after their defeat to Bayern Munich.

Bayern were comfortable 3-0 winners at the Nou Camp for Barca's opening Champions League group game, with the hosts failing to get a shot on target.

Mundo Deportivo says Laporta met with vice-president Rafa Yuste and technical director Mateo Alemany to consider the night's events.

The topics discussed haven't been disclosed, though board sources insist coach Ronald Koeman remains safe.

The three powerbrokers didn't leave the Nou Camp until after 2am.
