Barcelona president Joan Laporta is preparing to fire coach Ronald Koeman.
Koeman is fighting to keep his job after Monday night's disappointing 1-1 draw with Granada at the Nou Camp.
And speaking on his Twitch stream, RAC1's Gerard Romero reports, via Voetbalzone, Laporta already has six names on a shortlist of replacements should he be forced to sack his coach.
Phillip Cocu, Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa, Antonio Conte and Al Sadd's Xavi are all named, along with Ajax coach Erik ten Hag. Cocu and Xavi are former Barca players, while Bielsa has extensive LaLiga experience via Athletic Bilbao and Espanyol.
However, Romero claims the favourite for Laporta to succeed Koeman is former Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo. Pirlo is currently a free agent after being axed by Juve at the end of last season - his first as a coach at any level.
Despite his inexperience, Laporta sees Pirlo's personality and style of football as an ideal fit for Barca.
