Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists coach Ronald Koeman's job is safe.

After Monday night's disappointing draw with Granada, it's been suggested tonight's result against Cadiz will decide Koeman's future.

But Laporta told El Chiringuito last night: "Koeman's future depends on tonight's outcome? No, no. We are with the coach, he is the coach of Barca's first team and what we want is for things to turn out well for him.

"Coaches, and not only Koeman, are very conditioned by the results and, in the case of FC Barcelona, by the game as well.

"But Koeman is our coach and we are with him today."
