Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu says nobody in his administration will resign, let alone himself, after coming under significant pressure due to the the vote of no confidence being brought against him.
Bartomeu has no plans to relinquish his position of power before legally obligated to in 2021.
"At the moment, nobody plans to resign," Bartomeu admitted to TV3.
"The board will continue working to make a team that is competitive as possible.
"The club doesn't stop; we continue working and we have many pending things in motion.
"This isn't the typical market given the fact it ends on October 5."
Lionel Messi accused Bartomeu of lying to him and breaking his word over the exit clause in his contract, yet the president refused to comment.
"I won't enter any dispute with the captain," he declared.
"These are things that have to be discussed at home.
"We must congratulate ourselves that Messi is still with us; the best player in the world must be at home."
