Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is tightlipped over reports they've opened talks with Liverpool for Luis Suarez.
Officials from both clubs met in London to kickoff negotiations for Suarez's transfer.
Bartomeu commented: "It's correct that we said we'd be renovating. I can't say any more. It's the negotiators handbook, not to give any clues. This is a World Cup year. There is lots of speculation, but I can't talk about this."
Asked about Suarez's biting controversy, he added: "I repeat, Suárez is a Liverpool player, but what I would say is that he's accepted that he's made a mistake and that is to his credit. It's the start of his rehabilitation. He needs help. More than that I can't say. He needs to start again and keep playing."
