Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists no regrets signing Ousmane Dembele.

Bartomeu approved meeting a fee rising to €140m demanded by Borussia Dortmund to bring Dembele to the Nou Camp. But Dembele's time with Barca has been a disappointment, plagued by injury and poor form.

However, Bartomeu told Mundo Deportivo: "If I had to do it again, would I recruit the same players? Of course I would. Some players followed Neymar's departure, such as Dembélé, who was unlucky with injuries.

"We will see how he will evolve six months after his (hamstring) operation. I am very happy, he is very young, he has a lot of talent and he will explode at Barça when he has no more injuries."
