Barcelona have added Martin Skrtel to their shortlist of defensive transfer targets ahead of the January market.
Barca are exploring the prospect of making a short-term, experienced centre-half signing to act as a stop-gap amid fitness concerns for Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen.
Former Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, who is about to come off contract at Zenit St Petersburg, has been in contact with Barca about a free transfer to the Nou Camp.
And RAC1 says ex-Liverpool defender Skrtel, now with Fenerbahce, is also under consideration.
The two veterans, both 34, would be offered terms to June with the option of a further 12 months.
