Barcelona are interested in Borussia Monchengladbach striker Alessane Plea.

Barca are in the market for a new striker signing ahead of the summer market as they seek a long-term successor for veteran Luis Suarez.

And BILD says their search has led them to Frenchman Plea.

It's suggested Barca were prepared to offer €50m for Plea - before the coronavirus crisis forced the suspension of both the Bundesliga and LaLiga.

Plea was with Nice for four seasons before joining Gladbach two years ago, where he has scored 23 goals in 63 games.
