Barcelona plan Sheikh Mansour talks over Man City's Robinho

Barcelona plan a new round of talks with Manchester City this week over a January deal for Robinho.

El Mundo Deportivo says Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, City's owner, will be back in Abu Dhabi later this week to see Barca in action during the Club World Cup.

It's claimed Robinho is maintaining regular contact with Barca directors and has told the club that last week's interview where he committed his long-term future to City was actually done several months ago and the landscape since then has changed.

For the moment, Barca's original offer remains on the table: a six-month loan with the view to a permanent deal worth £30 million.

Barca president Joan Laporta and sports director Txiki Begiristain are expected to meet with Sheikh Mansour and discuss Robinho on Thursday or Friday.
