Barcelona are shopping for a new left-back ahead of the January market.

Mundo Deportivo says Barca are seeking a new defensive signing to act as cover for Jordi Alba.

Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno, Lyon's Ferland Mendy and Valencia fullback Jose Luis Gaya are all under consideration.

Barca chiefs believe the easiest to prise away will be Moreno, where he is strictly now second-choice at Liverpool behind Scotland captain Andrew Robertson.

There's also a confidence Liverpool would be willing to sell, with the winter market the last chance of raising a decent fee for the former Sevilla defender.
