Barcelona have opened new contract talks with goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

Valdes' current deal expires in 2010 and there were concerns from his camp that Barca would not be offering him new terms.

However, after winning the Treble, Barca are now ready to deal in Valdes and hope to strike terms this month.
