Barcelona have no intention on bringing Aston Villa youngster Adama Traore back to the Nou Camp, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The Spanish giants sold the 19-year-old to Villa for £7million, but did not include any buy-back or reclaim clauses in the deal, as they have be known to do for talented youngsters who leave the Catalan club.
It is understood Barcelona instead asked for a first-refusal option, which it appears likely they will exercise.
Villa are believed to be surprised at the amount of development Traore needs before he can contribute as a first team regular, especially considering his £40,000-a-week salary could rapidly rise to £75,000-a-week.
