Al Sadd coach Xavi has rejected two huge offers in recent months.

Xavi is now firming as favourite to replace Ronald Koeman as Barcelona coach over the summer.

AS says Xavi was offered the Borussia Dortmund job and also had contact with the Brazilian Federation about replacing Tite after the 2022 World Cup.

However, the former Barca captain rejected both approaches and instead committed to a new deal with Al Sadd to the end of next season.

Xavi is currently home in Barcelona on his summer break, though is expected to soon hold talks with Blaugrana president Joan Laporta about succeeding Koeman.
