Eintracht Frankfurt have announced the signing of Luka Jovic on a permanent basis from Benfica.

Jovic is a target for Barcelona this summer.

Jovic, 21, has signed a contract with Frankfurt until 2023 and Benfica will pocket a reported €7m as part of the deal plus a percentage of any future sale.

“Luka's development is very pleasing for us and it was never in question as to whether we wanted to tie him to the club," Eintracht chief Fredi Bobic said in a press release.

“He is a player with extraordinary abilities. It is important to us that we have bound him to our club."
