Barcelona must cough up a premium if they want to add Arthur Melo to Ernesto Valverde's squad this summer.
Barca have a deal in place for the Gremio midfielder, with the Brazilians insisting he must play out the season with them before going to Europe in the New Year.
Mundo Deportivo says if Barca want to bring him to Spain six months early, they must cough up an extra €10m. Arthur's original fee is set at €30m.
For the moment, Barca's board do not intend to pay the premium and will wait until January 2019 to sign Arthur.
The youngster has been identified by the Double champs as former captain Andres Iniesta's successor.
