Barcelona have made a move for Athletic defender Inigo Martinez.

Barca are turning to Martinez after seeing Sevilla defender Jules Kounde preparing to join Chelsea.

AS says Barca chief Mateu Alemany has made contact with Athletic president Jon Uriarte about Martinez's availability.

Alemany has informed Uriarte a bid will soon be tabled for the defender.

Should Uriarte refuse to do business, Barca will turn to Villarreal defender Pau Torres.
