Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal is being linked with Newcastle United.
Mundo Deportivo says Vidal is giving serious consideration to a Premier League proposal.
The report states that Vidal sees Newcastle as having a 'very attractive growth plan,' and would be interested in joining the club if the new owners were to replace Steve Bruce with his old Juventus boss Max Allegri.
Vidal's contract at Barcelona is set to expire in June 2021, so a sale this summer at a reduced price seems likely.
Earlier this week bookmakers slashed the odds of Allegri becoming the next Newcastle manager, as the club's £300m takeover moves closer to completion.
