Barcelona midfielder Vidal feels for James over Real Madrid situation

Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal feels for James Rodriguez over his situation at Real Madrid.

The Colombian has barely featured for Real Madrid in 2019/20 since returning from a loan spell at Bayern Munich and Vidal offered some insight into the situation.

"James and I are brothers, we forged an incredible friendship in Munich," the Barcelona man told Win Sports.

"We talk all the time, on holiday we did and it's annoying that he has problems with the coach.

"James has a high level to play as a starter for that team and I don't know why they didn't give him a chance this year."

The Chilean pointed to a summer move as the best possible solution for the former Monaco man.

"I hope he takes the best decision and begins to play," he added.

"I think people, football admirers, love to see quality players and James is one of them.

"He has to grow, search for his future and find a place to play and enjoy football."
