Barcelona midfielder Sergi Busquets admits he needs to consider his international future.

The Spain captain made the admission after last night's Euro 2020 semifinal defeat to Italy.

Busquets said, "I do not know (his future with Spain). This is not the time to think about myself. It is the time to be sad and proud of the team.

"The future of the team is facing with optimism and it does not matter if I am here or not."

He also stated: "There is a year and a half left for the World Cup. This is the way.

"For the World Cup there is a great team and this is the way. In general you have to be proud of this team and hopefully we can fight in future tournaments for something more than the semifinals."
