Puig saw more action for Barca in defeat to Celta Vigo on Saturday.
The midfielder has been mentioned as a loan departure this summer, but he told Sport: "I would like to be in the first team, but it's not me who decides. The club decides, but if I have to be with Barcelona B for another season it will not matter. I would not go on loan.
"As my father says, I would not leave Barca unless I was pushed to the exit. If I have to go to Manchester? It's raining there every day!
"I think my teammates did not see a future here and they had to leave. Some have done very well .... One of my best friends plays in Monaco and is very happy. He says this is one of the best decisions he has made.
"I was told that I had a particular style of play. I could play in another team, but the quality in Barcelona makes me better. That's why I'll always be here. I want a fifteen year career in Barcelona."
