Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic hailed the performance of Marc-Andre ter Stegen for their 0-0 draw at Athletic Bilbao.

Ter Stegen made two brilliant saves -- one from Susaeta and another from Inaki Williams -- to help Barça leave San Mames with a goalless draw.

"Marc's one of the best players in the world, he gives us so much," Croatian midfielder Rakitic said after the game.

"For me, I have always said it, he's one of the best goalkeeper in the world and is one of the best because of the presence he has, he gives us a lot and it really important for us."

He added: "We tried, we looked... but it wasn't to be. It's another point and we have to look at the positives."
