Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has dismissed claims Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been disparaging of the Nou Camp ahead of tonight's Champions League showdown.

Before the semifinal first-leg, Klopp insisted the stadium was "not a temple to football".

But Rakitic insists: "I have seen the comments. I have understood him. He wanted to take the pressure off his players, to see it as another stadium. I respect Klopp's opinion.

"Playing at Camp Nou is different, it's special. If you want to call it a temple or not, it does not matter. It's a different stadium. I wish I could play all the games here. Then you have to respect the opinion of each."
