Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic was full of praise for Ansu Fati after their 2-0 defeat of Leganes on Tuesday night.

Ansu scored their opener again in their 2-0 win over Leganes at the Camp Nou on Tuesday and Ivan Rakitic was left delighted by what he saw.

"I'm very happy for him," the Croatian said afterwards.

"He's doing a really impressive job and he has to have patience."

Antoine Griezmann didn't enjoy the same good fortune as his fellow forward though, seeing his own fine finish ruled out for an offside earlier in the move.

"He scored and it was cancelled," Rakitic added.

"He's a very important player for us and he'll only get better with time."
