Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic is set to join Olympique Marseille.
Pjanic's loan at Besiktas ends on June 30, but his future does not lie at Camp Nou. The former Juventus midfielder is not in Xavi's plans and Barcelona are working on finding him a move away.
Sporting director Mateu Alemany's objective is to lighten the salary load at Barcelona and if he can move Pjanic along again, even on loan, that will help.
Olympique Marseille are an option, and they could pay his salary, although they wouldn't also pay a loan fee for the move.
In Italy they say he is an option to replace Boubacar Kamara, after his move to Aston Villa, in their midfield next season.
