Barcelona midfielder Gavi has lost his No6 shirt and been deregistered as a first team player.

Gavi signed a first pro deal with Barca earlier this season.

But LaLiga is not recognising the agreement after Barca failed to meet Financial Fair Player demands.

As such, Gavi has lost his senior status and will be a free agent in June unless Barca can balance their books before June 30.

In the official squad lists posted on LaLiga's website, Gavi can be found listed with No 30, the same number he wore when breaking into the first-team picture.

Barcelona reportedly remain confident they will be able to free up space within their budget to register Gavi this summer.
