Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez admits he was poor in defeat to Alaves.

The midfielder was replaced by Lionel Messi in the second half while the score was level at 1-1, with the Basque side going onto to secure a famous 2-1 win.

"I wasn't good, I didn't play well," Suarez admitted after the game.

"We're upset, but we know there's another important game on Tuesday.

"We weren't comfortable in the game. I didn't feel right, but you have to lift your head and go again."
