Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong was delighted with their 3-2 win at Real Betis.

The Dutchman was impressive on the night.

"I think that was one of my best games after suffering a bit in the last few," said De Jong. "But it wasn't brilliant either.

"It was very important to win the game and that was not easy, although in the end we could have won by more goals, for the penalty they didn't give (Lionel) Messi. It was clear, he caught him and pushed him.

"It was a good game but I think I'm going to improve in the coming matches. We're ready for the Champions League."
