Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho concedes his knee injury recover will be a long process.

Coutinho has admitted that his recovery from a knee injury is taking time as he continues his fitness work in Brazil.

The midfielder hasn't played for Barcelona since a 1-1 draw against Eibar in December and there is no date set for his return.

"I'm working hard and I'm convinced that I will come back better and stronger to do what I love most," Coutinho said on Instagram.

"Each day is a new battle, which requires my all.

"The recovery is slow, requires patience and dedication.

"Everything is mapped out and there is time for every purpose on God's green earth."
