Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena admits his future will be settled next month.

With Denis Suarez and Rafinha both potentially on their way out of the club in January, there's an opportunity for Alena to move up to the first team permanently.

"We will meet in December to decide whether I still have the B team contract or a first team one," he said.

"If it's for the first team, the contract extends to 2022, but now that's the last thing that worries me.

"I have the confidence of the club, the coach and my teammates, I know how hard it is and patience is required.

"I'm in no hurry to succeed here, Sergi Roberto is the example to follow for all the players in the academy."
