Barcelona midfielder Sergi Busquets is proud to have reached 600 games.

Busquets' career at the Camp Nou has been nothing short of phenomenal, with some even going as far to say he modernised the holding midfield role, and the Spanish international has quite the number of iconic moments to look back on.

"Your first match always stays with you," Busquets said.

"My first Champions League goal in Basel, the year we won the treble and then the sextuple. Everything has been very exciting, I keep every memory stored and I relish the day-to-day life in the dressing room."

Amassing 600 matches for a club of Barcelona's scale is quite the achievement, and one not many people hit, and there is an immense feeling of pride within the former youth team product.

"I'm happy and proud to have hit this figure," Busquets confirmed.

"Only four footballers have been able to achieve it and I'm so happy for the career I've been able to have. Everyone has made me enjoy these 600 matches a lot, and I hope to be a part of many more."
