Barcelona midfielder Busquets: Messi still proved he's the best

Barcelona midfielder Sergi Busquets was delighted with their 1-0 win at Champions League opponents Manchester United for the first-leg of their quarterfinal.

Luke Shaw's own goal was enough to give Barca an away win. Leo Messi was not at his best in the game after taking a whack in the face from Chris Smalling in the 30th minute.

"I don't know if Leo has a fissure or not, but he had a nose bleed and it's uncomfortable, but he showed up in the game and did things in the best way, as always," said Busquets.

Busquets was pleased with Gerard Pique especially and his team-mate Clement Lenglet, the other centre-back.

"He's in great form and the two of them are very secure," added the midfielder.
