Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo says Philippe Coutinho knows he needs to do better.

Coutinho has been whistled by fans in recent games due to his scratchy form.

And Arthur says: "Coutinho is a craque, he is one of the best in the world.

"He knows that in some matches he has not given his best football, but those of us who know him know what he is capable of and how much he can help us."

Barca coach Ernesto Valverde also said: "The way we behave in the locker room is a private matter, which stays between us. We try to make everyone feel confident that players can give their best. There are times when you need to talk to players, and others where you do not need them. We hope to have the best of Coutinho."
