Wolves attacker Adama Traore is due to have a medical in Barcelona on Friday.

Sport says Traore will have a medical on Friday in Barcelona, as SPORT revealed. The Wolves forward joins Dani Alves and Ferran Torres as a January winter window arrival.

The forward, from Hospitalet, had been close to joining Tottenham but he chose to come home on loan from Wolves.

Barcelona's deal includes an optional 30m purchase clause at the end of the loan, plus 5m more in objectives if it happens.

Adama formed with Barcelona at youth levels and debuted in 2013 with Tata Martina, against Granada in La Liga and then in the Champions League against Ajax. Luis Enrique gave him a game against Huesca too, in which he scored his first Barcelona goal.
