Barcelona have terminated Sergi Samper's contract to allow him to move to Vissel Kobe.

The midfielder has reached an agreement to cancel his contract and he'll bid his farewell at a press conference on Tuesday.

Samper emerged from the FCB Escola and appeared in every youth category, including a promotion to the first team in 2016.

But it didn't quite work out as expected as he spent loan spells at Granada and Las Palmas, both under Paco Jemez, the last of which was cut short due to a serious injury.

Samper made 13 appearances for Barça and will look to kick start his career again in Japan.
