Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen believes that Arsenal star Mesut Ozil belongs in the same category as star teammate Lionel Messi.

The Gunners will try to overturn the 2-0 deficit in the Round of 16 Champions League tie at Nou Camp on Wednesday, and Ter Stegen claims that his compatriot Ozil has the capability of turning the second leg in the favour of the North London club.

He said: "As a footballer he [Ozil] is a player that can do unthinkable things, just like Messi. He is impressive.

"I have played with him two or three times and he is a very significant player for the German national team and can do incredible things. We will have to be alert that he does not harm us."
