Barcelona keeper Ter Stegen proud of 5-star performance for victory over Dynamo Kyiv

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen was delighted with victory over Dynamo Kyiv.

Barca won Wednesday night's Champions League clash 2-1, with Ter Stegen making six key saves.

He said, "For me, the important thing is to win this game. I was looking forward to being back on the pitch and doing what I like the most."

Analysing the game, he added: "I think they had a lot of chances, we have to improve and speak about that ... but we started well, we had good chances and we could have been further ahead. Late on we suffered, we suffered a lot and it made the game a little nervous late on."

As for his saves, he didn't want to pick a favourite, humbly saying: "That doesn't matter. The important thing is winning this game. For me, getting back on the pitch and winning is the main thing. I am really happy for the team."
