Barcelona keeper Ter Stegen a fan of Napoli's San Paolo

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen admits he's a fan of Napoli's San Paolo stadium.

Barca drew 1-1 in Naples in the first-leg of their round of 16 clash before the coronavirus suspension.

“The San Paolo is not very modern, that's true, but it has something special," the German keeper told El Pais.

“You feel the pressure of the fans, they play an important role.

“I like these kinds of matches, like the ones against Athletic Bilbao. Those matches where you play in front of fans that really supports the squad."

Ter Stegen admits he's no great football fan.

“I only watch a game if it's interesting or if a friend of mine plays," he added. “I have a very bad memory, sometimes they ask me the name of a footballer and I can't answer.

“In Spain, for example, I don't know the names of my opponents. I limit myself to watch the various videos, where I study how they move and how they finish."
