Barcelona have joined the battle for Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.

Kante was the subject of intense interest from PSG over the summer - and the French mega spenders remain keen. Talks reached the point where PSG sports director Antero Henrique spoke directly with Kante, who insisted he was happy where he was.

However, Sportmediaset says Barca have joined the interest and have a trump card in new sports chief Eric Abidal.

Kante admires his fellow Frenchman and could be tempted should the call be made.

At the Nou Camp, Barca see the midfielder as a natural long-term successor for Sergio Busquets.
