Barcelona have joined Inter Milan in their interest for Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso.

With a place in Spain's Euros squad on the line, Alonso is weighing up leaving Chelsea in January in search of regular first team football.

Alonso is a target for former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte at Inter, though the former Real Madrid defender could also be offered a return to Spain.

At Barca, reports Goal, Alonso is being discussed as cover for Jordi Alba.

Junior Firpo has failed to convince management and now Barca chiefs are considering Alonso as an alternative.
