The Brazil international has been linked with Barca ever since being dropped by manager Antonio Conte last month.

Luiz has even been spotted in Barcelona for treatment to his knee injury.

However, Barca are insisting a move isn't on their agenda - particularly over fitness concerns.

An insider told El Pais: "We cannot recruit him because he is hurt."
