Barcelona are in talks with RB Salzburg over a deal for Gideon Mensah.

Sport says the Blaugrana are in negotiations to loan the Ghanaian footballer with an option to buy. Mensah is a U21 and U23 international and has played in the Austrian top flight.

Salzburg are considering the loan offer and there is no definitive agreement because they are looking at other options.

Mensah would be registered with Barca B.

He would arrive to replace Juan Miranda, who is poised to join Olympique Marseille on loan in the coming hours.
